We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our infrastructure team and contribute to the successful delivery of  projects across Victoria, South Australia and Southern NSW. The role is based in Campbellfield, Victoria and reports into the Estimating Manager.

As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in the preparation and evaluation of cost estimates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness on infrastructure projects ranging from $1- $100 mil.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather key information for accurate estimates on infrastructure projects, including bridges, roads, intersections, and drainage.

• Review and analyse bid and tender documentation, ensuring full comprehension of project scope including quantities
• Develop detailed cost estimates based on technical specifications, contract requirements, and market conditions
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and clarify scope requirements
• Identify and assess key project risks and opportunities to enhance submission strategies
• Prepare and submit high-quality tender proposals, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements
• Support the successful transition of awarded tenders to project delivery teams

 About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• A Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred)
• A minimum of five to ten years' experience in a similar estimating role within the infrastructure sector, experience in sports fields a nice to have along with regional and interstate projects experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Strong communication and written acumen along with stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Expert Estimation Software
