About the Role:
The Workshop Department at BildGroup plays a critical role in supporting project delivery by ensuring fleet availability, reliability, and compliance. The team is responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, warranty management, and continuous improvement across a diverse plant and equipment fleet, enabling safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations across our projects.
We are looking for a Works Coordinator to lead the forward planning and coordination of maintenance activities across our Victorian fleet and plant assets. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role is responsible for the long-range service scheduling, maintenance forecasting, and workflow governance of all Victorian plant and fleet assets.
How You’ll Make a Difference:
- Develop and manage forward maintenance programs aligned to OEM and compliance requirements.
- Forecast fleet availability and proactively plan maintenance windows.
- Oversee CMMS data accuracy, work-order lifecycle compliance, and reporting standards.
- Coordinate internal workshops, field service teams, and external suppliers.
- Provide operational leaders with clear visibility of maintenance impacts and risks.
- Identify improvement opportunities across scheduling, planning, and workflow processes.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Extensive experience in maintenance planning, fleet coordination, or asset management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site or high-volume maintenance programs.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capability.
- Advanced stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with CMMS systems and maintenance reporting.
- A current driver’s licence is required.
- Plant operation tickets or relevant trade/mechanical qualifications will be highly regarded.
