As an Environmental Advisor, you will work closely with project and HSE teams to ensure environmental compliance, support site operations, and promote best-practice environmental management across the Barwon Heads Project / Geelong.

You will provide practical, site-based environmental advice, assist with monitoring and reporting, and help embed a strong culture of environmental responsibility within project teams.

This role reports to the Environment & Sustainability Manager and is primarily site-based, with collaboration across multiple projects as required.

What You’ll bring to the Team:

• A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 years’ experience in the civil construction or infrastructure environment (VIDA projects experience highly regarded).
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a site-based, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with site teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• A valid Driver's Licence is essential, as this role requires regular travel to various project sites throughout Victoria.

How You'll Make a Difference:

• Provide environmental support and guidance to site and project teams
• Ensure compliance with project approvals, EMPs, and relevant environmental legislation
• Support environmental monitoring programs and reporting requirements
• Assist with environmental inspections, audits, and incident response
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across environmental performance
• Participate in project and divisional meetings as required
• Support additional projects across Victoria as needed, while maintaining primary responsibility for the Barwon Heads Project
