Kickstart your safety career through a 12-month HSE cadetship with mentoring, site exposure and a path to a permanent HSE Advisor role.

We’re seeking a capable and committed HSE Cadet, based in Campbellfield and reporting to the HSEQ Operations Manager, who is passionate about driving high standards of health, safety, and environment across our operations.

The HSE Cadet role is an exciting opportunity to start your career in Health, Safety and Environment.

Working closely with experienced HSEQ professionals, you’ll gain hands-on experience across live projects while learning how to apply safety principles in real-world environments.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

• Support the rollout of Bild’s Safety-First culture across projects.
• Assist with workplace inspections, audits, and incident prevention activities.
• Contribute to safety communications and wellbeing initiatives.
• Work with Engineers, Supervisors, and Project Managers to embed safe and sustainable work practices.
• Participate in data reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
• Actively engage in Bild’s Cadet Development Pathway and mentoring program.

What You’ll bring to the Team:

• Is currently completing or recently completed a Certificate III/IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent tertiary study).
• Holds a White Card and Driver’s Licence.
• Is eager to learn, proactive, and values teamwork.
• Has strong communication and organisational skills.
• Shows genuine interest in safety, sustainability, and wellbeing.
