As our Urban division continues to grow, we’re seeking Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers to help deliver a range of urban projects, including subdivisions, earthworks, wetlands and utilities/drainage works.
In this South East Queensland–based role, you’ll contribute to shaping project outcomes, maintaining high delivery standards and working alongside a highly skilled team as we expand our footprint in the region.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll play a key role in planning, managing and delivering civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality and building positive client relationships.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 5–7+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, ideally on Urban Projects.
- Strong understanding of the Queensland urban development market.
- Proven capability in engineering delivery, subcontractor management and site coordination.
- Solid grasp of civil construction standards, specifications and project controls.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Full driver’s licence and willingness to visit clients across QLD.

- Support or lead end-to-end delivery of subdivision and urban development projects.
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve high-performance outcomes.
- Monitor and report on schedules, budgets, risks and quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
- Champion BildGroup’s Safety-First culture and ensure compliance across all activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high-achieving team culture.
