As we prepare to deliver the Barwon Heads Road Upgrade Stage 2, we're inviting a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and collaborative Quality Engineer (Jnr.Site Engineer) to join our team. This is an 18-month project, commencing in June–July 2025, and a meaningful opportunity to contribute to lasting change in the Geelong community.

Your Role:

As a Quality Engineer, you will play an essential role in planning and delivering quality outcomes on-site. You’ll be a connector between strategy and execution—balancing the technical, the practical, and the people-centred aspects of civil construction.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

• Assist in planning, organising, and coordinating day-to-day construction activities.
• Work alongside supervisors, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Interpret plans and specifications, identifying opportunities for improvement or risk mitigation.
• Proactively uphold safety and environmental standards, contributing to a people-first culture.
• Maintain accurate records, track progress, and contribute to high-quality reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build trust and maintain strong working relationships.
• Support the team in delivering work that is efficient, safe, and aligned with the values of the community.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 12 months of construction or on-site experience.
• A strong eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Confidence working with construction documentation and project plans.
• Clear communication skills and a genuine ability to connect with others.
• Strong commitment to safety, wellbeing, and high-quality work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• White Card and Driver’s Licence required.
